With a population of just over 3,000 residents, Saddle River, New Jersey is a quaint small town located in Bergen County. With the second highest per capita income in the state, Saddle River offers beautiful homes, excellent schools and some of the best real estate in Bergen County.

With well-kept neighborhoods and parks, beautiful historic homes and estates, and a quiet, small town atmosphere, all just thirty minutes from New York City, Saddle River is a unique town and a wonderful place to call home. Residents enjoy beautiful homes and neighborhoods, numerous parks and recreation activities, an excellent school system and a variety of shopping and dining options in surrounding towns in Bergen County.

Residents enjoy the many shopping, dining and recreational options offered throughout Bergen County, as well as the borough's close proximity to the world-renowned cultural and entertainment activities in nearby New York City. Many notable residents have called Saddle River home, including former president Richard Nixon, and actors, athletes and authors such as Danny Aiello, Jason Kidd and Mary Higgins Clark.

Saddle River is located in close proximity to New York City and several major roadways, allowing fast commute times to both Manhhattan and points throughout Bergen County. Many residents commute to midtown and downtown Manhattan, allowing them the best of both city life and quiet, residential living just thirty minutes from the office.

The Saddle River Public School District is considered excellent. Children in kindergarten through grade five attend the Wandell School. Students in grades six through eight attend the Eric S. Smith Middle School, which is located in Ramsey, New Jersey and is part of a sending/receiving relationship Saddle River has with that town. High School students choose to attend either Northern Highlands Regional High School or Ramsey High School, which are both also part of a sending/receiving relationship. Some families choose to send their children to Saddle River Day School, which is a private school in town that educates students from kindergarten through twelfth grade.
